Characteristics

HighStrength mooring ropes are the result of long research under strict quality control tests. They have been proven to have greater breaking strength and much more healthier properties than that of ordinary Polypropylene Ropes. Breaking strenght is 40% more then Polypropylene Ropes. They show excellent shape retention, high resistance to salt water, chemicals, superior abrasion resistance and minimun loss of strength in wet condition and moreover an excellent shock absorbtion capacity. Due to the 8 strands braided construction where 4 strands are twisted in “Z” and 4 strands in the “S” direction these ropes are ideal for all marine applications. they can be supplied with GL/DNV certificates.
